ADA supports the empowerment of women entrepreneurs in El Salvador!

The two finalists of the circular economy cohort that the INSERT/Yawal incubator organized this year with the support of ADA share with us their experience at FLII 2019.

At the beginning of October, the two finalists from the circular economy sector, accompanied by INSERT/Yawal, presented in the column "De Tacos, sueños y botellas", were selected. After presenting their respective prototypes, Switzerland Mendoza (Complementos de Descanso) and Kenya Alvarado (Thewoodsoul) were chosen to carry out the incubation process offered by Yawal and funded by ADA.

In order to find investors and learn from their peers, the two women entrepreneurs participated in the 5th Latin American Impact Investment Forum (FLII), organized by Alterna in Antigua, Guatemala, on November 13 and 14.

Discover the video with the testimonies of these two young entrepreneurs who tell us how this experience inspired them to continue to progress. Not only in the development of their company but also in the development of the El Salvador ecosystem.

ADA will continue to support this type of Salvadoran company in 2020. Indeed, in conjunction with INSERT / Yawal, a pilot project of its new Young Entrepreneurs Sustainable (YES) Funding Initiative program will be launched to finance innovative and sustainable businesses by mobilizing local investors.
