Third video in the series of online meetings in which LMDF presents the impact of the epidemic on the countries in which the fund invests.

LMDF presents a series of interviews on the impact of COVID-19 in countries where ADA and LMDF operate. The pandemic has certainly changed the way we live here in Luxembourg, but what happens in countries where the poverty rate is higher and the informal economy dominates? This series of interviews looks at how micro-entrepreneurs are coping with this changing world.

This week we meet Catherine Liziard, Project Manager "Digital Finance Initiative" for ADA based in Burkina Faso. Catherine has been working for ADA for 2 years and has been living in Burkina Faso for 10 years. Catherine will also be joined by Mr. Kirakoya, Managing Director of ACEP Burkina and Ms. Gyebre, Managing Director of GRAINE. The meeting is moderated by Kaspar Wansleben, Executive Director of LMDF.

Next meeting on April 23rd, with partners based in El Salvador and the Dominican Republic.
