ADA shares innovative approach among impact investors at the EVPA CoLab Award

EVPA (European Venture Philanthropy Association) is a membership association made up of organisations interested in or practicing venture philanthropy and social investment across Europe. EVPA’s diverse membership includes venture philanthropy funds, grant-making foundations, private equity firms and professional service firms, philanthropy advisors and business schools. Currently the association has over 309 members from 35 countries.

During and prior to the pandemic many investors for impact have applied innovative approaches and partnership strategies that have the potential to transform the way in which deeply rooted problems are tackled. 

In order to give broad visibility to these new practices, the EVPA community organised this year the “EVPA CoLab Award” that acknowledges system change leaders. ADA applied to promote its Innovation Labs. “The idea of these Innovation Labs is to have a very clear and realistic target. It was not to review our whole strategy but to identify very specific projects that might emerge” explains Axel de Ville, Executive Advisor at ADA. 

The experiences of applicants have been presented on November 9th at the EVPA annual conference. Further workshops will be organised in 2022.
